Friends are as Fragile as Chicks
The incubation of chicks is part of a Social and Emotional Learning Unit - Friendship
- The first picture is of the incubator that is in Mrs. Schuller's SEL room.
- The second picture shows a chick emerging from the egg as a hatchling.
- The third picture shows the chick safe and fluffy. The chick is waiting patiently for the other chicks to emerge and is chirping to them in encouragement. You can actually hear the chick friends chirp back within the confines of their shells.
